home-made ice cream gal

i've told people that i am a chocolate person..not so much a snacks or ice cream person. but i like to modify the later part of that statement.

i am a home-made icecream gal.

eversince moving to this side of the island, i've been hooked to icy desserts. one is that chng tng at bedok corner..the chngtng, i've waxed lyrical about it in my older blog..

the other icy dessert would be the home-made ice cream at eastwood center across the road from that same hawker center.

both being just few minutes walk from the house..means i've had loads of them in the past few months...

..i dont really like most supermarket tubs ice-cream coz find them too sweet for my liking...sometimes the sweetness overpowers the flavour..which are artificial anyway..

so the homemade ice-cream is a newfound love. so sedap and shiok especially on hot days.



the local flavours are a treat for me; D24 durian, lychee, teh halia and cempedak..yumms

but the classics dont dissapoint either...strawberries with goodness of real strawberries..the sweetness and the sourness of em..



i therefore would like to announce shamelessly a new item in my rather empty wishlist...
